The aim of this Data Protection Notice is to inform customers of Little Wheelers Limited (the “Company” or “we” or “us”) on the collection, use, disclosure, transfer, and other processing of their individually identifiable information (“personal data”). Throughout the course of your relationship with the Company, we collect and process certain personal data about you and your children who participate in our classes and programmes. We collect and process personal data (a) for purposes that are required by applicable law, (b) to allow the Company to fulfil its business needs and legal obligations, and (c) to maintain the customer or business relationship.

·      Your child’s age/ date of birth

·      Information you provide which will help us to teach your child to cycle - this may be health, behavioural or other relevant information

·      The courses which have been attended by your child

·      On a password protected, secure email server

·      On a password protected Excel spreadsheet

·      On a password protected bespoke database

·      On the Bookwhen booking system linked to our website


Legal basis for processing Personal Data

·      The Company’s legal obligations and legitimate business interests under the applicable Data Privacy Laws form the legal basis of the processing described in this notice. As a customer of the Company, we need to process your personal data for these purposes. Our legitimate interests or those of a third party include our requirements to use your personal data in litigation or for other legal purposes involving the company.

·      If changes need to be made to personal data, notify us (as identified below) in writing right away. Under applicable law, you have rights to: (i) check whether we hold personal data about you and to access such data (subject to applicable laws); (ii) request correction or erasure of personal data about you that is inaccurate; (iii) ascertain information related to the company’s policies and practices in relation to personal data; (iv) request the erasure of your personal data; and (v) request the restriction of processing concerning you.

·      You also have the right to withdraw any consent to processing your personal data at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing of your personal data based on consent before its withdrawal. We may, however, have other legal grounds to continue to process your personal data.



Who we share these data with

·      We provide registers of children’s names to coaches for each session.

·      Our database manager has shared access to the database via a secure server.


How long we keep your personal data

·      We intend to keep your personal data accurate and up-to-date. We also strive to retain your personal data no longer than is necessary to carry out the purposes listed in this notice or than is required by law.

·      We will keep your personal data while you are a current member of Little Wheelers Limited.

·      We will continue to hold your personal data for up to 7 years when you are no longer a current member of Little Wheelers Limited in accordance with applicable law.
